So. Do you have big dreams? A passion for perfection? A desire to take your talents to a whole new level? Then you have exactly what it takes to become a member of Dakota Academy of Performing Arts. Here, music and drama students of all ages learn professional techniques from some of the area's elite musicians and actors. You'll have a chance to practice and perform with a group of talented peers that will push you as well as support you. When we work, we work hard. And when we play, we play even harder.
Chamber Music Program Participation
If you're interested in our Chamber Music program, rehearsals are once a week at various times depending on instructor schedule. Placement is at the discretion of the instructor, and there is a $150 fee per year to join.* For more information, please call 605-334-7552 or info@playhardwithdapa.org.
DAPA Chamber Orchestra Participation
If you audition for and are admitted into this high level music program, rehearsals are held Sunday nights from 6:30-8:30 at Central Baptist Church. Cost is $150 per year.* For more information, please call 605-334-7552 or info@playhardwithdapa.org.
*Financial aid or scholarships are available. Tuition includes all music and a DAPA t'shirt.
Plays For Living Theatre Company Participation
Students involved with Plays for Living Theatre Company must audition. Rehearsals are once a week from 7-9 pm for 5-6 weeks with performances scheduled throughout the year.
