The Dakota Academy of Performing Arts is a private, non-profit organization lociated in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. DAPA is dedicated to excellence in music and theatre for children, adolescents, and young adults. DAPA provides a conservatory level experience with emphasis on professional standards. DAPA provides an unequaled opportunity for young people in the Sioux Falls area to excel in the performing arts by providing recital opportunities and professional venues in which to gain experience, knowledge and confidence.
A passionate, elite group of professional musicians and actors serve as faculty guides and mentors for students. In addition, the teamwork and comaradarie from equally talented peers provides a positive social network that develops self esteem and confidence in the participants.
